Enjoy.

Hello! I thought I’d return the favour by commenting on your blog (which I’ve visited before – it’s great to see other Butor-loving people out there and I’ve always appreciated that you like to bring out the link between Butor and the much-more-secretly-Butorian-writer-than-people-let-on, W.G. Sebald). I’m currently writing a conference paper on B.S. Johnson and Butor, and I’m using that image from the Calder edition of Passing Time just because it’s so striking – I love the pipe!.

Thanks – I must check out B S Johnson about whom I (shamefully) know virtually nothing!
